Join us Sunday, June 30th at 2 P.M. for Beale Street Monster Club's Black Lagoon Tiki Extravaganza!!! Experience the luau of the year with an exciting presentation on the Gill-Man in tiki culture by anthropologist Tony Kail followed by a retrospective talk by film historian Michael J. Cox on the history of the Gill-Man. The main event of the afternoon is a 70th anniversary screening of the "Creature from the Black Lagoon"!!! We will also have a table set up celebrating the life and legacy of Milicent Patrick, the designer of the Gill-Man.Event will be held at the historical A. Schwab on Beale Street.
