Join us in the Beaded Ornament class December 13th 10 AM to 3 PM here at Sequoyah Birthplace Museum. The cost of the class is $30 per person and materials are included. The beaded ornament will be red and white with gold accent beads. Space is limited to 10 people. Call to register and pay for the class. Tonya Dockery is a life-long resident of Tellico Plains, TN. She travels the Southeast doing programs and teaching pine needle and coil baskets, corn shuck dolls, beadwork, and finger weaving and living history that portrays the lifestyle of the Appalachian families between the time period of the late 1700’s-early 1800’s.
