Discover the art of bead loom weaving in this hands-on workshop at the Museum at Campbell River. Learn how to create beautiful, intricate beadwork using a traditional technique that is still widely practiced today. By weaving beads back and forth between taut vertical threads on a loom, participants will create stunning geometric and woven designs.
Using beads, needles, clasps, and a bead loom, participants will make their own beaded bracelet or choker necklace to take home. No previous experience is required — this workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone interested in learning a new creative skill.
Each participant will also take home their own bead loom, handmade by Tideline Gallery, so they can continue creating beyond the workshop.
Date: Saturday, June 20
Time: 10:00 – 3:00
Cost: $87.75 +tax
Location: Museum at Campbell River – Museum Foyer
All materials and tools are included in the workshop fee. Participants will receive:
