Beacon House Fundraiser - Lower Sackville, NS

Are you ready for an afternoon of fun for a worthy local cause?

We are hosting a Scrabble Fundraiser to support our friends over at Beacon House Food Bank in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.

The demand for food has been very high this year and the shelves need to be filled again.

Here's how it goes.

***BRING YOUR SCRABBLE BOARD***

There will be teams of 2, 3 and 4. You can bring your own team OR come along and join another team.

Registration opens at 12:30 PM. Games start promptly at 1:00 PM. Play will continue for 2 hours at which time, we will determine the winners for some fun prizes. Of course, the real winner will be the community members that the folks at Beacon House are able to help.

All proceeds will go to the Beacon House Food Bank. The hosts and sponsors are absorbing any costs associated with the event.

Donations of food items are greatly appreciated.

Meet the hosts

Debbie Adams, owner of PeopleCan Training, called Sackville home for more than 18 years. For 3 of those years, she operated a business on Sackville Drive. She loves giving back to a community who have been so generous to her and her family.

Earl Smith, Mortgage Broker with TMG The Mortgage Group. Earl has called the Sackville area home for 6 years raising his 2 children in the community. Always looking to give back, teach others the pay-it-forward philosophy, and of course he loves a good game of Scrabble.
