Beacon Bash is to Help educate people on using their beacons, and keeping them brushed up on their beacon skills. Whether you’re new to the backcountry or you just want to stay on point with your beacon skills Beacon Bash is a great place to practice with like minded people while being able to demo, and use the latest and greatest backcountry gear. Creating a great all inclusive atmosphere for learning and education while making amazing friends at the same time. Makes Beacon Bash one heck of an event! Our goal is to spread as much knowledge about the backcountry as possible so everyone can enjoy a safe and wonderful experience when recreating in avalanche terrain.At Woodland Park:
Wake Up, Warm Up Yoga and Coffee Provided by Local Coffee Sponsor: 9-10am
Beacon Scavenger Hunt: 10-1 pm
Avalanche Companion Rescue Practice Morning Session: 10am-11am
What’s in my Pack: 10am-11am
Avalanche Companion Rescue Practice Late Morning Session: 11am-12am
Tour Planning and Use of Modern Navigation Tools Session: 11am-12pm
Raffle to Benefit Northwest Avalanche Center: 12:30-1pm
At Brewery:
Backcountry Partner Social: 1:00-3pm
Apres at Brewery/Restaurant: 1:00-3pm
