Beaches WellFest

Discover WellFest, in collaboration with the City of Atlantic Beach, is back for its sixth annual event on May 4th at Johansen Park, bringing the community together for a day of growth, movement, learning, and connection. This family-friendly community event is, as always, FREE and open to the public.

This year’s WellFest, presented by Here Tomorrow, has a line-up you won’t want to miss. Staring with our third year of the morning coffee mile, Crawl WellFest, brought to you by A New Way Healing, All Together Wellness, Stackhouse Fitness, and Sunshine Healing Arts. This 1-mile walk starts at 9am and leads participants through the streets of AB as they sip samples from CatBird Coffee, Cup of Jōb, The Coffee Peddler, Smoothie King, and Aubryn’s Gourmet Lemonade.

After the Crawl, join us back at the park for a line-up of events on our MBody Yoga Stage. Mbody Yoga’s kickoff yoga class starts at 10am, followed by two opportunities to experience Soundbath Jax and Jax Beach Aerial Yoga at 11am or 1pm.

New to this year’s WellFest is a GORUCK kid hike at 12pm. Inspired to broaden their mission of making fitness fun, Jacksonville-based GORUCK founders have launched a tech company called Sandlot to connect and power real world fitness and sports for everyone. Sandlot is excited to host a kid-friendly hike at WellFest this year with voluntary donations benefitting Embrace Jax, a local non-profit organization dedicated to increasing access to play therapy for children in our community.

WellFest will run until 2pm and we invite you to spend the day wandering this gorgeous park, visiting over 30 local sponsors. Enjoy a handcrafted latte at the Grounds of Grace coffee truck or stop by one of our food vendors and stay to learn, grow, move, connect, and be part of the WellFest movement.
