Beautiful Sunset Crystal Bowl Soundbath on the Compass Rose between South Ponto Beach and steps from beautiful Alila Marea Resort Encinitas.Experience a Sunset Crystal Bowl Soundbath Instramental on the majestic Bluff Overlook aka"Compas Rose" overlooking South Ponto Beach on the border of S. Carlsbad and Leucadia (Encinitas)
Instrumentals are performed by a Leucadia local Certified Sound Healer and include Gong Bath, Ocean Rain Drum, Crystal Chimes, Indian Customary Ting Shas and Bells to guide you into a deep relaxing meditative state. Crystal Bowls emit sound and vibration to synchronize brainwaves to help create a sense of peace, reduced anxiety and clarity. It is not uncommon to see dolphins in the waves below and pelicans flying close by overhead. Clouds moving slowly and colors of the sunset make the experience magical.
If you are looking for something to do after your soundbath, it’s steps away from dinner or cocktails at Alila Marea Beach Resort.
If you are planning on visiting Alila Marea for dinner or cocktails you have an option to valet park with the Alila Marea. The two restaurants/bars are Vaga (reservations needed for dinner - not for bar area and The Pocket (small bites and cocktails - no reservation needed), or just enjoy a stroll around the prestine resort.
Parking: Please note that there are stairs to bluff whether parking at beach or valeting at Alila Marea.
Just North of the parking lot there are several free beach parking spaces for parking until 10pm.
Bathrooms and water fountains on site.
Plan time accordingly to arrive at the Compass bluff 15 minutes before event to settle into your spot for soundbath and get you checked in. Late arrivals disrupt the experience but welcome to settle in quietly in the back. Kids welcome if able to lay quietly for the hour.
Bring: yoga mat, blankets), pillow or bolster (anything you may need to help you feel comfortable in a laying down position for an hour) eye pillow, water bottle. While we are in this beautiful paradise of our sunny season, please dress comfortable and in layers, temperature tends to drop a little at sunset. You are welcome to bring aromatherapy and crystals to place on alter for charging. Namaste
If you are an out of town guest and do not have yoga mat or blankets we can provide a yoga mat and a blanket for event at a small fee (please contact us prior to event to reserve).
