In this summertime weekly multi-feature event on the beach, join “Beach Poets” host Cathleen Ann Schandelmeier at Leone Beach at Loyola Park (Greenleaf and the lake, just east of Sheridan Road and 4 blocks north of the Loyola L stop) for “Beach Poets”, because on August 24, 2025, Chicago poet Janet Kuypers will be visiting Chicago (from her current residence in Austin) and is thrilled that her finalé poetry show in Chicago in 2025 will be a feature at “Beach Poets”!
In recent years, CyberWit.net has published 4 Janet Kuypers poetry books, “The Universe is in Your Hands”, “Shattering the Glass Ceiling”, “Testament”, & “Eternal Never Ending Now” — chosen poems from all 4 of these book, plus poetry from assorted Scars Publications books (+ brands-new poems seen only in current and upoming issues & books from cc&d magazine), will be highlighted in this one-of-a-kid Chicago Beach Poets reading.
Copies of Janet Kuypers’ books from both CyberWit and Scars Publications will be available, so people can also purchase autographed copies of these poetry books.
