Day 2 lineup:
11:15 - The Equatorial Group
Hailing from the sleepy seaside town of Eastbourne on England’s Sussex coast, The Equatorial Group is formed of five friends from various and differing musical backgrounds. By navigating and taming this musical tug-of-war, they have created three records, in which some listeners hear the shadows of Neil Young or the colours of Fleetwood Mac.
12:30 - Poppy Rockett
Poppy Rockett is a female lead alternative quartet. Live the band have a much heavier sound and have been described as having “undeniable stage presence."
13:45 - The Human Output
THE HUMAN OUTPUT ARE AN ALTERNATIVE ROCK/POP GROUP HAILING FROM EASTBOURNE, EAST SUSSEX, FORMED IN 2020.
ORIGINALLY THE SOLO PROJECT OF PRODUCER AND FRONT MAN EMERSON COOPER, THE HUMAN OUTPUT WELCOMED DRUMMER
CHRIS STAPLES AND BASSIST TIM STRINGER IN EARLY 2024 BEFORE THE RELEASE OF THEIR SECOND BODY OF WORK
' WAKE UP SO YOU CAN SEE US'. THE HUMAN OUTPUT BLENDS INFLUENCES FROM GROUPS SUCH AS DEPECHE MODE AND THE CURE
WITH MORE MODERN ELECTRONIC ELEMENTS AS WELL AS HEAVIER SOUNDS INFLUENCED BY BANDS SUCH AS MUSE. THEY LOOK FORWARD
TO AN EXCITING YEAR IN 2024 WITH A NEW LINEUP, PERFORMING LIVE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE BEFORE THE PANDEMIC.
15:00 - Woon
Emerging from the ashes of several well-loved Hastings based independent alternative rock bands, woon blend their love of obscure American indie, grunge and nineties slacker rock with serious pop sensibilities. The power trio create a sense of fuzzy nostalgia that bites as well as barks.
16:15 - The Veltmans
The Veltmans are an Eastbourne based outfit who are making quite a name for themselves in their hometown. Since their formation in late 2021 they have played frequently to audiences across the South Coast of Sussex, with their first single “Peers” (released 9th September 2022) drawing attention from various parties of the Sussex music scene, culminating in a BBC Introducing Sussex & Surrey Live Lounge on the 9th February 2023.
