Recognizing that tomorrow’s history is being made today, the Beaches Museum invites you to its Beach Legends Gala, Friday, November 5 at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse to honor our 2021 Beach Legends.During this past extraordinary year, our community has learned to appreciate many everyday heroes… medical staff, first responders and essential workers. But there are people all around us who have kept the fires of our beach community burning, reminding us that we belong to something big and important. These quiet heroes found creative ways to keep our traditions alive, comfort us with faith, support us with services and soothe our spirits with music. This year, we honor them as our community’s Beach Legends who continue to write the history today that we will remember for many tomorrows.
The Beach Legends for 2021 are Kurtis Loftus, Dr. Thomas Bary Jr., Susan King and Mike Shackelford.
