At the Beach to sing in the summer season -WE CHANT AND SING AND KEEP IT SIMPLE! This is the August beach evening to chant and sing of 2025. Meet at the end of the Pier closest to the water at Brittania Beach. We are in the sand -so bring a blanket or chair.
It will be held outside at sunset.
We would like to invite all and also other friends and family to this free chanting group. Especially those that live in this Ottawa area.
Dress for outside and being so close to the Ottawa River as it can be windy and you may even want to swim afterwards.
No experience needed. Dogs are Welcomed to this one.
Bring a simple song to teach if you feel inspired.
This is not a ritual nor ceremonial night but rather a need the community has for free singing and chanting for spiritual release, growth and calm.
Chants and songs are taught simply by anyone that wants to share leadership. Call and response are a great way to teach and learn.
No 'great voice' is needed. Harmonies and rounds will be strived for >but making something together is the aim and not performing It is to enjoy and release together and to quiet the mind. The voice as instrument.
No cost to join and no rsvp for this -just show up.
Just 2 hours of song and simplicity all are welcome.
Bring your own snack and bottled water to drink.
