Join us for our Spring 2024 Entrepreneur Speaker Series hosted by the Dallas College Venture Club (DCVC) where we provide inside, guidance, and information in the areas of business growth. Discover the essential tools and resources that small businesses need to thrive! Whether you're a startup or an established business, this event is designed to help you grow your food/beverage business!

We will provide inside guidance, and information in the areas of business growth. Whether coordinating meetings in an online discussion group or partaking in a five-star dinner, this introductory session will aim to sculpt attendees into exceptional individuals who can project a business model as well as they direct one. Attendees will be briefed in how to conduct yourself in a wide array of professional situations helping you to be prepared to represent yourself and your business well, whether attending a critical meeting or operating in the vein of your profession. Most importantly, this workshop will edify participants in the foundational pillars of character that form the essence of philanthropy and the service of the community. As an added plus, dinner is included so come out and nurture both your mind and your stomach!

Note: Doors open at 5:30. Event starts promptly at 6:00 pm. Please arrive by 5:45 pm for dinner service.

This registration is for in-person attendees only. IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND IN-PERSON, please register for the virtual offering. Due to the catering requirements and attendee size restrictions, people who register for both will be canceled.

Allen is a certified etiquette consultant and owner of “Your Presence is Important School of Etiquette," as well as the immediate past president of the National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals (NAUEP). With more than 25 years of experience, Alisa has empowered individuals through her interactive etiquette workshops (corporate, dining, social media, civility, business attire/imaging, and protocol), all designed to prepare individuals for success on professional platforms.

Alisa has been recognized for her outstanding work in the field of etiquette, most recently being selected as Etiquette Consultant of the Year. Alisa resides in Dallas, TX where she is an etiquette resource providing workshops for schools, churches, and community organizations.
