Be There Film Festival: November Edition

Welcome to the Be There Film Festival!

Join us on Sunday, November 10th, 2024 . Doors open at 4pm with the show starting at 4:30pm for a fantastic cinematic experience at the Windjammer Bar. Get ready to share anything you've made yourself with a captivated audience and connect with local movie enthusiasts celebrating the art of storytelling.

We have 2 rules for your film to be screened:

1. You have to BE THERE
2. Your film must be less than 20 minutes

Films will be played first come, first serve (like a karaoke waitlist). All filmmakers will receive a Q&A about their project. Please come with a link to the work you would like to screen. Otherwise, the quality of the film does not matter, we've even had someone screen a phone video of their cat throwing up. Every filmmaker recieves festival laurels emailed to them, and if you stay until we run out of films, there is an award ceremony.

Throughout the festival, you'll have the opportunity to watch a truly diverse range of handmade movies, engage in lively discussions with filmmakers, and discover new perspectives. We believe in the power of film to inspire, entertain, and bring people in the community together.

Grab your bloody mary from the Windjammer's bar (this is a 21+ event after 6pm), sit back, and let the magic of local cinema inspire you to make something (anything!).
