Enjoy exploring your connection to your body and your self surrounded by a friendly community of beginners! We play with ancient feminine movements that guide us towards loving our body, becoming more confident, strong and sexy! Discover the beauty being you are from the inside out as you learn to express yourself and release anxiety.
As you grow in grace, coordination, improving your posture and stance, you’ll find that it starts to permeate every aspect of your life. You’ll learn to brush off mistakes, love yourself, and move and speak with more confidence in every aspect of your life.
Belly dance is not only a technique - but a lifestyle of realizing you a compassionate, beautiful, graceful divine creature that brightens every room you’re in. Yes, YOU have that power within you just waiting for you to tap in through these time-honored traditions!
Class is taught mostly away from the mirror, as you grow from the inside out, discovering how it can feel to be amazing inside your body, no matter what shape, age, gender or size. Well worth both on technique and self expression so you can find YOUR unique voice through dance.

We rotate monthly themes:
ROOTS: Foundational rhythms and footwork to ground yourself into your body and the music through the earth.
FLAIR: Exploring how emotions are energy in motion and aid in storytelling - moving with meaning! Fiery accents, pizzaz, and more.
FLOW: Tapping into the energy of the movement of air and water to synthesize movements, connecting with circles and spirals.

DRESS for the part you want! It is important part of boosting confidence and your psyche, so wear a hip scarf from home, or check out the wide variety of what we have right here at the Studio! Arrive early to class and choose your favorite, be ready for class!
...remember it takes at least 10 classes to start 'getting' the introduction to the essence of the dance... be patient with yourself and give yourself time, you're here because you're NOT good at it - yet - and by making mistakes and being slightly uncomfortable, but open, we open ourselves up for even greater success!
...it's recommended to take Beginner series a few times before asking your Instructor about moving up to Level 2 class. Be patient with yourself, you can do it!
