Be Still is a guided silent retreat, for both men and women, to help them to connect more deeply to God. It is a wonderful opportunity to cocoon yourself away from the world and wrap yourself in the presence of God. This is a time to be still, be refreshed and listen with your heart.God speaks frequently in the Bible about being still, to listen to Him and to spend time in His presence. For rest is a significant season of trusting God and hearing from Him.
Therefore, this retreat will create an opportunity for people to be still, rest, and be restored and re-storied by the One who loves them.
This retreat will take place at the Jamberoo Abbey in the Southern Highlands and will be a guided, mostly silent retreat. There will be a small section each day of some interaction and teaching, to gain some fresh insights and then be gently guided to a place of peace.
There will also be opportunities to attend the services in the chapel and a range of sensory and reflective activities to help you unwind, rest in God and focus on Him.
Helen Betz will hosting this event and she is recognised for her gifting in leading sacred spaces, conferences and retreat events. Helen's aim is to help each person connect at a deeper level with God through teaching, activities and prayer.
Each person will have their own private room with a shared bathroom, lounge and kitchen unless they book their own cottage unit. All bed-linen, towels, activities and meals (from Thursday dinner until lunch on Sunday) are included in the cost.
This retreat is limited to just 12 people.

*Please note, all attendees must attend the whole weekend away to minimise disturbances and to make the most of the experience. Arrival time is from 4pm onwards with the program starting at 5:00pm on Thursday 17th Oct through to Sun 20th Oct closing at 3pm.
