Be Safe, Stay Safe - Staying Safe in a Digital World

Carlisle College is working with the PCC - Cumbria (Police and Crime Commissioner) to raise awareness of student safety for our students.

We are holding a 'Be Safe, Stay Safe' day for students within the college on 30th November. However, parents/guardians and Carlisle College Staff may benefit from more knowledge too, so on the evening of 29th November, we have a guest speaker to deliver one session for parents/guardians and Carlisle College Staff to attend.

This one-hour interactive session, delivered by Get Safe Online, will focus on what we should all do to safeguard ourselves and our families - against cyber criminals and those who want to harm our reputations.

The information will be relevant to all and delivered in such a way that everyone will understand. You do not need to be an IT guru to follow the tips and advice that will be offered, all we ask is that you come along and bring any concerns and questions with you.

There will be plenty of time during and after the session to ask questions.
