We are hosting an advanced planning program for adults of all ages and we’d like you to join us. Enjoy wild rice hotdish, bread rolls, a salad and desserts while visiting with a panel of knowledgeable professionals about the many spiritual, emotional and financial benefits of making important decisions in advance.
We will also discuss traditional burials, cremations and environmentally friendly options pertaining to both choices. Find out what you can do to make things easier for your children or other family members.
Knowledgeable professionals include:
Rachell Henning from Henningson & Snoxell Ltd will introduce you to legal tools you can use to plan for the unexpected, maintain family harmony and efficiently transfer your assets after death. Powers of attorney, healthcare directives, wills, trusts - which of these might be appropriate for you?
Linda Egelkraut, Care Transition Coordinator from St. Croix Hospice will be covering the topic of Hospice 101.
Danielle Radulovich- Nelson Funeral Director & Owner, will talk about the many different funeral and cremation options available to you, including memorial service, celebrations of life, unique events, green burials, veterans benefits and more.
Kelsie Abernathy a preplanning consultant will be present to field questions about establishing advance funeral plans, creating a unique tribute to best represent you and your wishes. She will cover questions such as: What is the best way to guarantee my wishes are carried out? How can I discuss these ideas with my family? Is there a way to protect my funeral dollars? What if I have advance funeral plans in place-can I move them to another funeral home and potentially save money in the process.
