Folks, September is Suicide Prevention Awareness month. Let’s educate ourselves on how to assist persons who are struggling with hopelessness and despair. There is a free community event for suicide prevention awareness on September 8, 2025 at 7:00pm at Nordlof Center in Rockford. Please invite all you know who have been impacted by this issue.
There will be panelists, comfort dogs, art works, music, a support area, resources and information on how to become trained to guide a person to help.
