BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS HOSTING THE RETURN OF THE BE GREAT GALA IN-PERSON ON OCTOBER 29

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the San Luis Valley is thrilled to announce our 30th anniversery BE GREAT Gala on Saturday, October 29th, from 5:30 - 8:00 PM, in the banquet rooms of the Adams State University Student Union building. We are thrilled to have this opportunity to honor and celebrate organizations and individuals who have made a significant impact in the lives of our youth. This premier annual fundraising event is a fun-filled, mission-focused evening that includes dinner, along with live and silent auctions.

Our diverse community network makes visions for the future of our youth possible. We are inviting community members from across the San Luis Valley to come together and recognize those who are inspiring young people in our region to pursue greatness. Our community, as a whole, is empowered by collaboration and an intentional focus on developing strong engagement efforts. The BE GREAT Gala is more than an opportunity for celebration - this event also offers an opportunity to evaluate both our successes and areas for improvement as we move into another year of youth development and community-building.

Collaboration is the heart of the programs we create, and with diverse support, we are providing youth the tools they need to achieve their dreams, and later become influential leaders in our region,” Executive Director Miltenberger said.

(BGCSLV) is a thriving community asset, built-in 1992 by the grassroots efforts of a group of students determined to create a safe, after-school gathering place for youth and teens. This organization creates programming to ensure that all youth, especially those who need us most, are offered opportunities to realize their full potential as responsible, caring, and productive citizens of a richly diverse world. 28 years after its establishment, BGCSLV is a strong collaborative partner serving over 1,200 youth within the 8,000 square mile area of the SLV.
