Be Free: Gentle Yoga & Sound Bath
About this Event
This gentle yoga practice is centered on the yogic principle of 'letting go' (vairāgya, aparigraha) by releasing attachments to outcomes, expectations, and ideas that no longer serve us. As autumn arrives, we take inspiration from the trees, which shed their leaves and dead branches not as a loss, but as preparation for the stillness of winter and the growth of spring
We begin with an accessible yoga practice incorporating Vedic chanting, breathwork, mindful movement, and meditation. Rather than encouraging you to "check out," this practice invites you to check in—developing a calm, grounded awareness and a deeper connection to yourself.
From this place of presence, we transition seamlessly into an extended sound bath with you. Using therapeutic-grade CrystalTones® Alchemy singing bowls, gong, chimes, and voice, you create an immersive sound experience designed to calm the nervous system, encourage deep rest, and support the body's natural capacity for healing.
Taking place at the threshold between summer and fall, this workshop offers an opportunity to honor the life-giving forces of nature, express gratitude for the abundance of summer, and create space to enter the fall season with greater clarity, steadiness, and intention.
