Welcome to Be a Kid! RYSE to the Future 21+ event at the RYSE Youth Center in Richmond, CA. Get ready to unleash your inner child and have a blast with games, activities, and more! This in-person event is all about embracing your playful side and having a great time with friends and fellow supporters of RYSE. Join us for an evening filled with fun and laughter as we celebrate the joy of being young at heart, and shift our mindset to creating the future young people deserve. This event benefits , which provides direct and timely financial resources for young people whose basic needs are not being met or are being threatened. Since its creation in 2020, the Youth Emergency Care Fund has provided support for over 300 young people and their families.

Our goal is to raise $200,000 for 2024.

The “RYSE to the Future” theme embodies Black, Indigenous and young people of color’s powerful vision: strong, healthy, united communities where equity is the norm and violence is neither desired nor required. The young people who organized to create RYSE over 15 years ago, and who designed the beautiful campus we steward today, have created the foundation for future generations to thrive. NOW is the time and place for youth to lead, dream, and love.
