Come join us at our Be A Believer: A Survivor's Gala! The event will take place at the beautiful Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida, and promises an unforgettable night filled with delicious food, great music, and both live and silent auctions. We are excited to feature local artist Marcus Zotter, who will create a stunning tree adorned with empowering words contributed by our attendees. This year, we are also introducing a new and powerful addition to our gala—a fireside chat with Judge Rosemarie Aquilina. Judge Aquilina, renowned for sentencing disgraced USA Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar to 175 years in Pr*son, became a voice for over 150 women who courageously confronted their abuser face-to-face.

We are excited to announce the participation of Judge Rosemarie Aquilina for our fireside chat during the event.

On Jan.24, Judge Rosemarie Quilina sentenced disgraced USA gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar to 175 years in Pr*son and gave a voice to more than 150 women who chode to confront their abuser face-to-face. "I just signed your death warrant," she said.

As she listened patiently while survivors shared their stories during the multi-day-long sentencing, she acted motre like a therapist thena a judge. "Leave your pain here," the 59-year old told them.

Of the 150 or so athletes who were victimized, twice as many as expected spoke out, according to the New York Times, including gold-medal-0winning gymnasts Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, and McKayla Maroney.

We're excited to have Judge Aquilina join us for our gala, while also getting to chance to learn about her experience with supporting survivors during public facing trials.

Our Emcee of the Evening: Krista Fogelsong

Krista Fogelsong is the Vice President of Communications and Community Relations for McQuaid & Company. The Montana native has called Southwest Florida home for two decades. After 25 years as a television news anchor, Krista recently left the news business to join McQuaid & Company. Now she uses her journalism skills to highlight agents and the company on social media and YouTube. She is also the host of “Open House Naples”, a first of its kind real estate lifestyle show developed by McQuaid and Company. Krista loves being able to showcase Naples luxury real estate and our Southwest Florida paradise. She and her husband, Lance, enjoy spending time at our beautiful beaches with their two rescue dogs Cabo and Tuco. We are excited to have her join us for this night of hope and healing, and to have her lead our fireside chat with Judge Rosemarie Aquilina.

Our Auctioneer of the Evening: Shannon Livingston

Shannon Livingston is originally from Kansas City, Missouri, has lived in several states across the country, and has been in Naples with her son Joe since 2007. Shannon has a strong presence in the community and is known for her media and service to nonprofits. She is a licensed benefit auctioneer that helps organizations across the country raise funds to deliver their missions.
