BDFA Bereaved Parents Weekend Away

When: Saturday 31st October – Sunday 1st November 2026
Where: Meeting at the Premier Inn London Kew Bridge hotel, Brentford, London
Saturday 31st October:
- 12pm: Arrive at Premier Inn London Kew Bridge to get checked in
- 1pm: Taxis to Kew Gardens – time to meet and mingle with each other
- (there are Cafes at Kew Gardens if you want to get lunch or a light-bite)
- 7pm: 2 course dinner at Premier Inn
Sunday 1st November
- Breakfast
- 10am: Reflection Space where we celebrate the children
- Tea/Coffee and pastries provided
- 11.30: Round up and Goodbyes
- Midday: Head home
Accommodation: Premier Inn, London Kew Bridge, will include 2 course dinner plus a drink, bed and breakfast.
When booking your ticket please select to book a room so these can be allocated.
Cost: £40 per person. The BDFA will cover the majority of your dinner, bed, breakfast and Kew Gardens ticket admission. You will need to orgaise your own travel arrangements. (If you need assistance in arranging your travel, please contact Mimi or Sarah).
Who can come? Parents who’ve lost a child to Batten disease and who are registered with the BDFA
