Join us at Asbury Hall on Wednesday, October 21, as the Buffalo Chamber Players launches its 20th concert season with "Roaring Twenties!"
The program brings together three distinctive works:
Francis Poulenc: Trio for Oboe, Bassoon and Piano (1926)
Caroline Mallonee: Crabs and a Kettle of Fish (2026)
Franz Schubert: String Quartet No. 14 in D minor, D 810, “Death and the Maiden” (1826 private premiere)
From Poulenc’s musical wit to Mallonee’s contemporary voice and the dramatic intensity of Schubert’s celebrated quartet, this program offers a compelling mix of music from the “twenties.”
And please stay after the performance for cake with the musicians. It’s a wonderful opportunity to mark this milestone with the people who make the Buffalo Chamber Players community special—you!
Get advance tickets for $28 ($32 on the day of the concert), or save with a four-concert season subscription. Student tickets are just $5 at the door.
Doors open at 7 PM · Music begins at 7:30 PM
Free parking is available in the Asbury parking lot and on surrounding streets.
