Our Guest Speaker is Tracy D. Neely, President of Mobile Creole Cultural and Historical Preservation Society (MCCHPS). Tracy will share with us what the MCCHPS mission and history is all about and how they are bringing the Creole communities together. The MCCHPS has been facilitating the research efforts of those exploring their ancestral connection to the Creole communities.
Creole Settlements in Baldwin County are Bon Secour, Magnolia Springs and Fairhope, Alabama. The MCCHPS would like to expand their information and research in Baldwin County. They are seeking information on the Creole communities, descendants, and family histories. If you are unable to attend the meeting, want additional information or have information to share, you may contact the MCCHPS at their website: mobilecreolesociety.weebly.com.
Meetings are free and open to the public. Seating is limited and reservations are required. [email protected] with your name or call Barbara Thompson at 251-424-4681 beginning October 8. Registration is closed when seating capacity is reached (limit 42).
