An Update on Will, and an Invitation to Rally Around Him
Life can change in an instant, but so can the power of hope, resilience, and community.
If you know Will, you know he has always lived life to the fullest. Whether he's captaining a fishing boat, coaching on the ski hill, or spending time with family and friends, he's never backed down from an adventure or a challenge. Following a life changing ski accident, Will is now paralyzed and facing the greatest challenge of his life, but one thing hasn't changed: his determination to keep moving forward and embrace every day.
One of the greatest blessings in all of this is that Will's spinal cord remains intact, something that truly feels miraculous and gives us genuine hope. While no one can predict exactly what his recovery will look like, Will is giving everything he has to the process. He has endured multiple surgeries, overcome setbacks, and is now working tirelessly at Craig Hospital in Denver, one of the nation's leading spinal cord rehabilitation centers. Every day he pushes through demanding therapy, learns new skills, celebrates victories big and small, and continues to inspire everyone around him with his grit, positivity, and unmistakable sense of humor.
Recovery from a spinal cord injury isn't measured in days or weeks, it's measured in months and years. The road ahead will require continued rehabilitation, adaptive equipment, travel, specialized care, and countless hours of hard work. If anyone has the perseverance to meet that challenge, it's Will. But even the strongest people aren't meant to do it alone.
That's where all of us come in.
We invite you to join us for Will's Fundraiser as we rally around him and his family. This is more than a fundraiser, it's a chance to remind Will that an entire community believes in him, and is cheering him on.
Whether you've known Will for years or have simply been touched by his story, your presence will make a difference.
Funds raised will help support Will's ongoing rehabilitation, adaptive equipment, travel expenses, and the many unexpected costs that come with a life changing spinal cord injury. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps give him access to the resources he needs as he continues this journey.
If you're unable to attend or donate, sharing Will's story, offering encouragement, and keeping him in your prayers are equally meaningful ways to help.
Thank you for the incredible love, generosity, and support you've already shown. Together, we're reminding Will that hope is stronger than fear, that determination is contagious, and that no one faces a journey like this alone.
We hope you'll join us as we celebrate Will's strength, lift him up, and help fuel the next chapter of his recovery.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. ❤️
