BBCT RECORDINGS Molecular Biology,Chemotherapy & Pharmacology NOVEMBER 2023

The Cancer Studies Research Group based at The Christie School of Oncology & Cancer Research UK Manchester Institute play a major role in allowing Specialist Registrars in Clinical & Medical Oncology to fulfil the academic side of their training. This programme is run as a 5 day lecture series and includes examination practice sessions. Monday to Wednesday will focus on molecular biology & immunotherapy and Thursday and Friday will cover pharmacology and chemotherapy.

Low-to-Middle-Income Country (LMIC) course fees are offered at a 50% reduction. Countries eligible for LMIC reduced rate can be found here. Countries listed under the headings "Low-Income Economies" and Lower-Middle-Income Economies" will be considered. Target Audience

The teaching is designed for trainee medical and clinical oncologists and incorporates the FRCR part 1 syllabus including candidates for the Royal College FRCR part 1 examinations.

Teaching method

The lectures and exam practise sessions have been recorded from the live teaching and are now available for viewing. Recordings will be accessible until September 2024 in line with the RCR Spring and Autumn 2024 examinations.
