Join author, psychic, and folklorist Mystic Dylan for an unforgettable evening at Dark Matter Oddities & Artisan Collective as he celebrates the release of Swamp Sorcery with an immersive journey into the haunted folklore and living magic of the American South.
Drawing from years spent exploring the swamps of Florida and Louisiana, Dylan will share the history, traditions, superstitions, and spirits that continue to shape Southern folk magic today. Discover tales of forgotten cemeteries, restless ghosts, pirates, rootworkers, crossroads, and the unseen forces said to haunt the cypress groves and mist-covered waters.
The evening will feature a Bone Throwing demonstration, offering a rare glimpse into one of the South’s most fascinating forms of divination, followed by an opportunity to ask questions and explore the symbolism behind the bones.
Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase signed copies of Swamp Sorcery, browse a limited collection of magical wares, and pick up an exclusive collaboration bone throwing kit created especially for this event.
