The Baylor Libraries Author Series proudly presents Dr. Christopher Pieper, Senior Lecturer of Sociology, Baylor University, and Dr. Justin Nelson, Associate Professor of Sociology, Campbell University, in conversation with Dr. Elisabeth Rain Kincaid, Director of Baylor's Institute for Faith and Learning, Associate Professor of Ethics, Faith, and Culture at George W. Truett Theological Seminary, and Affiliate Professor of Management at the Hankamer School of Business, about their recently published volume, "Society Without People: The Social Implications of the Metaverse and AI” (De Gruyter, 2025).This conversation will be held in the Schumacher Flex Commons of Moody Memorial Library and virtually via Zoom Webinar. A book signing and reception with light refreshments will follow the conversation. The Baylor Bookstore will sell copies of "Society Without People" at the session.
