Bay Camp 2023

Sonoma Land Trust’s Bay Camp is a bilingual summer day camp for children ages 8 to 12 years old in the Sonoma Valley and Petaluma areas. Bay Camp’s focus is on creating a connection between kids and nature through the exploration and education of the ecology of vital habitats in the San Pablo Bay watershed. This summer camp offers children the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature through hands-on activities and recreation along the Petaluma River and our protected lands including San Pablo Bay National Wildlife Refuge, Glen Oaks Ranch, and Stuart Creek Run.

At Bay Camp, children are introduced to nature in new ways and experience a diverse set of locations including places where fresh and saltwater meet. Campers make new discoveries and friends in a supportive and kind community engaged in fun, team-building games and activities. Bay Camp is the perfect place for children to experience the outdoors and spend a week enjoying new and exciting adventures with their peers!

Camp equipment such as kayaks, bikes, and safety gear are provided to all campers. We will teach safety techniques for each activity and ensure everyone has a fun and safe experience. Bay Camp is held at multiple locations and transportation is provided for all campers from our partner location at La Luz Center in Boyes Spring - 17560 Greger St, Sonoma, CA 95476.

Bay Camp programs are held weekly Monday through Friday from 8:30am-3:30pm and costs $350 per camper. Scholarships are available to qualified families with financial support from Sonoma Land Trust through our partners.
