FREE INDOOR 5th Bay Area Kids' Book Fair returns on Oct. 16-17 weekend with famous costume characters, authors, storytime and more.
About this Event

Our FREE INDOOR 5th Bay Area Kids' Book Fair is on the October 16-17 weekend. Our Silicon Valley fair is Saturday, Oct. 16, in Sunnyvale indoors at Fremont High School (1279 Sunnyvale-Saratoga Rd. @ Fremont Ave.) and in the East Bay on Sunday, Oct. 17, in Dublin indoors at Shannon Community Center (11600 Shannon Ave. at San Ramon Rd., 3/4-mile off Interstate 680).
Both indoor events offer FREE ADMISSION and FREE PARKING.
The Fairs are open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
To comply with health regulations, EVERYONE ATTENDING our Book Fair MUST WEAR A FACECOVERING.
The Bay Area has a rich history of writers, illustrators, world-renowned educational institutions and innovative technological advances, all of which will be featured at the fair.
We have storytelling presented by Stanford Children's Health all day and other FREE ACTIVITIES for attendees.
All-time favorite characters from books Pete the Cat and Elephant (aka Gerald) & Piggie will meet and greet their fans of all ages.
The first 200 families will get a FREE BOOK BAG.
Attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods to donate to the Food Bank. They will receive a FREE RAFFLE TICKET for each donated can. Admission and parking each day are free to the general public.
