Celebrate Trails, Volunteers, and Community! Saturday, November 1

Alicia Iden Nature Trail at Baxter Bog Park
Refreshments will be provided
Meet at Baxter Bog Park - at the Tolhurst Court and Hampton Drive entrance off Baxter Road
Please join neighbors and friends at a celebration of trails and volunteers, and learn the history of Baxter Bog Park, Pfleiger Park and the Alicia Iden Nature Trail Loop.
Walk the 1.5-mile loop trail to see new trail improvements and interpretive signage telling the stories of the people who helped create the park, and the community-led effort to continue to preserve and protect it today.
We will have a ribbon cutting at 2:15 pm
Many thanks to historian David Reamer for researching the history of this place, and reminding us yet again of its importance.
The Anchorage Health Department will be there with free ice grippers for the first 20 people who need them to get out walking this winter!
