Battle of the Paddles is Bethesda Project’s inaugural pickleball tournament and fundraiser! This widely popular game is accessible to all skill levels and is a fun way to build community and raise awareness for Bethesda Project, a nonprofit that provides shelter, housing, and services for unhoused adults. About Bethesda Project: Since 1979 Bethesda Project has provided shelter, housing, and supportive services for unhoused Philadelphians. Bethesda Project is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that operates 12 sites across Philadelphia and serves nearly 1,000 individuals annually. Bethesda Project operates a continuum of care throughout Center City Philadelphia utilizing a Housing First approach that minimizes barriers to access and allows each individual to take their journey of healing at one's own pace. No matter how the world changes, Bethesda Project remains committed to its initial calling and mission — to find and care for the abandoned poor and to be family with those who have none.
