Battle of the Eras: 1776 vs. 1976

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday at Hill-Physick House’s Annual Halloween Fall Fundraiser, when two iconic eras are pitted against each other for an epic battle!

Beginning at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 29, 2026, you are invited to choose.

Do you fancy the waistcoats, gowns, and powdered formality of 1776 when we proclaimed our independence? Or do the funky rhythms and leisurewear of 1976’s disco era keep you stayin’ alive? For those who want to dress up, pick one, the other, or a combination of both and prepare to battle for your era.

The evening will culminate with a grand costume walk-off where one era will be crowned the winner. Come for the music, the food, the activities, and brand-new signatures cocktail crafted for each era! Proceeds support the preservation and activation of PhilaLandmarks’ historic properties.
