The Manasota Chess Center will hold a U.S. Chess Federation (USCF) rated Blitz tournament for up to 24 players. Double Swiss, 8 rounds. All rounds are Game in 5 minutes, with 0-second delay. PRIZE TARGETS: Contingent upon minimum of 8 entries. 1st Place: 30%, 2nd Place: 20%, and 3rd Place: 10%.
ROUNDS: Double Swiss, 8 rounds. Round 1 begins at 1pm.
ENTRY FEE: $5 for Manasota Chess Center members; $10 for non-members. NOTE: Manasota Chess Center members should enter discount code when completing online registration form.
REGISTRATION:
Register online at manasotachess.org/fbregister
ALL PLAYERS must have a valid USCF membership ID# to participate. Non-USCF members can purchase a membership or renew at the tournament site. USCF membership MUST be purchased or renewed before the tournament begins. End of online registration is 12PM on day of tournament. On-site/walk-in registration occurs from 12:30PM to 12:50PM. Players that are not at tournament site at least 5 minutes before Round 1 start time, will be withdrawn from the tournament.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Chess sets and clocks will be provided. However, please feel free to bring your own if you would prefer to use them.
