In the predawn hours of June 26, 1740, Governor Montiano ordered a surprise attack launched under the command of Captain Salgado against General Oglethorpe’s elite British troops who were encamped in the ruins of Fort Mose. Participants will watch battle re-enactments, historical demonstrations, and performances. The event is free.
