The Kingdom of Exiles is in danger and we’re summoning the forces of the Mortal Realms to its aid! Without your patronage the historic non-profit Exiles gaming club may have to close its doors forever. Rally the might of Sydney's wargaming community and help restore this kingdom to greatness!

Exiles has been running for years, but got hit hard by Covid. The club is non-commercial, so it relies on membership and attendance to stay open.It’s not too late, but we need your support. You can give it just by coming and doing what you do - having a great time playing Warhammer.

All tournament fees will go directly to the club. Our first priority is to keep the doors open, but we’re aiming to make Exiles a utopia for wargamers of all kinds. You’re invited to what we hope will be the first of many tournaments - or to just come down and play games of any size at the club.

Exiles is truly one of the greatest places to play wargames in Sydney and it’s our mission to revive this forgotten gem! It’s a volunteer run, not-for-profit, everyone-welcome space where games can be played at all hours. All kinds of games and hobbies are welcome, with regular TTRPG campaigns, a library of boardgames, spaces to paint or model and an incredible library of wargaming terrain.

What:

An Age of Sigmar, 2000pt, two-day, four-round tournament - that’s two games each day, played out over a luxurious 3 hours each!

Limited spots available. Get your tickets quickly for the first 2 day tournament of 2023!

Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd; Best Painted, as judged by Exiles; Coolest Army, as judged by player vote; Best Sport; Wooden Spoon; and some special surprises on the day.

Special time dedicated to recognising your work as hobbyists. This means a stronger focus on the Best Painted and Coolest Army awards, with a designated show-and-tell period for display and judgment of all armies.

Beer! We’re sponsored by our friends at Wayward Brewery, with icy-cold adult beverages available as a thank you for donations made at the event.

A day 1 afterparty at Sauce Brewery, which is so close it shares the back wall of the club. We’ll book a few extra seats, so friends/partners are welcome too!

$55 covers entry for both days of the tournament and all proceeds go to the club.

Registration: 9am

Game 1: 9:30 - 12:30

Lunch: 12:30 - 1:30pm

Game 2: 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Army Display: 4:30pm - 5pm

After Party: 5pm - till late

Day 2

Game 1: 9:30 - 12:30

Lunch: 12:30 - 1:30pm

Game 2: 1:30pm - 4:30pm

Award presentation: 4:30pm - 5pm
