Bats and Brews

As the sun sets, we will walk between the 2 freeway and Fletcher Bridge to detect bats dwelling along the LA River. This urban walk will show participants how vital the River is for wildlife and how it provides habitat to a wide variety of species. This excursion will start and end at Frogtown Brewery with a bat discussion, while participants enjoy a tasty beer. In collaboration with Natural History Museum and local artist Margaret Gallagher, FoLAR will be releasing the Los Angeles River Bat Guide.
