Join us to share your expertise and help inspire the world with GIS. The City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge will celebrate Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Day on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 from 6 PM- 8 PM, at the Main Library, 7711 Goodwood Boulevard.
Hosted by the Data, Analytics, and Performance Division, GIS Day highlights how mapping technology and data visualization are used to support decision-making, improve city services, and strengthen community engagement.
The event will feature:
- Guest speakers,
- Live demonstrations, a
- Student poster competition
- Prizes, networking opportunities, and free giveaways.
- Attendees can also win a one-year Esri ArcGIS student license.
