Play with wax, dye and pattern in this beginner-friendly batik session. We’ll look at the simple tools and how to use them, then you’ll design and dye a couple of fabric pieces held in place in embroidery hoops.When it’s dry, you can frame it as an artwork or stitch it onto a calico bag and add a few hand-sewn touches if you fancy. Everything you need is supplied; just wear clothes you’re happy to get messy.
