Bat Walk at Cary’s Meadow

Join us for an engaging walk where we’ll be looking for and recording bats in the area. An opportunity to learn how to use bat detectors and take part in real-time bat recording.

The time the walk will take is approximate and the distance is about 1.5 miles (3km).

Additional information

This guided walk is suitable for children over 7 as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

A limited number of parking spaces are available on-site at Cary's Meadow (NR7 0EB), so please consider cycling, walking or getting dropped off where possible.

Please check the weather forecast in advance and bring suitable outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear. Depending on recent rainfall this route may be muddy in places.
