Bat City Film Night with Patagonia
About this Event
Enjoy an in-store screening, and Q&A, featuring 6 short films created by Emmy award-winning cinematographer Skip Hobbie in support of the Bat City Project. On our panel we will have representatives from Austin Bat Refuge, Skip Hobbie, as well as Ky Harkey of The Visitor Experience who has been instrumental in bringing this project to life. In addition to these panel speakers, The Trail Conservancy, who manage the section of trail where the interpretive project is being installed, will be in attendance.
Fundraising Options:
- Live screen printing from FSG Prints! We will have some awesome T-shirt graphics you can get screen printed at the event! Either purchase a blank shirt from the booth for $20, or bring your own 100% Cotton, dark colored shirt to get screen printed for $10.
- Live tattooing (ala Rita Von Lehe featuring flash of flora pollinated by bats!) – Donations (tickets) will be collected in advance, swing by either Austin Whole Earth store between the dates of August 14th and August 23rd to purchase a ticket to enter the Tattoo Giveaway! Each ticket is $5, feel free to purchase as many as you like. That money will go straight to Austin Bat Refuge.
