Did you know a single bat can eat upwards of 1,200 mosquitos an hour and consume their entire bodyweight in insects each night? Bats play a key role in our ecosystem, keeping insect populations in check and acting as crucial pollinators. Join the Natural Resources crew during international bat appreciation week as we construct bat houses and learn about these amazing furry flyers. Each participant will build their own bat house and learn about proper management technique.
Registration through the City's website or the the parks office is required to attend.
