Bastiaan Kamãvena, hudebník známý světu medicínské hudby zejména tetralogií Astral Flowers, vydává svůj nový hudební počin po osmi letech studií a hlubokého hudebního a duchovního rozvoje. Album Ruwê Txana Saïte bude venku 21. března 2025 a zachycuje Bastiaanovu cestu počínající první návštěvou kmenu Yawanawá koncem roku 2016.
Tohle vzácné setkání otevřelo novou dobu, ve které Bastiaan jako jeden z Ruwê nawa vakê (lidé kamenů - bílí lidé) propojil se schopnostmi a moudrostí amazonského ptáka txana a začal zpívat posvátné písně, saiti, domorodých kmenů.
Ruwê Txana Saïte je album, který přichází po osmi letech studia s kmenem Yawanawá. Je výběrem Bastiaanovo hudebních kompozic posvátných modliteb kmenů Yawanawá, které se chystají uzřít světlo světa po osmi letech dozřívání v intimním prostoru ceremonií. Na jaře roku 2024 Bastiaan započal krásnou cestu nahrávání tohoto vzácného hudebního díla, ve kterém se mísí precizní studium tradičních písní s velmi osobní a unikátní hudební vizí. Na albu Ruwê Txana Saïte je prales přítomen také v podobě hlasu Pajé Matsini Yawanawá, Bastiaanova učitele, který nejenom albu dal jeho jméno, ale také přispěl modlitbou Ruawaki.
Nahrávání, mix a mastering Ruwê Txana Saïte proběhly v pražském studiu Barrandov Sound, ale album je spoluprací Bastiaanovo spřátelených hudebníků po celém světě. Podíleli se na něm: Matsini Yawanawá a jeho dcera Maria Clara Kenetsayny Yawanawa (hlas), Nadav Dagon (perkuse), Yarda Helesic (gitara, charango), Txai Fernando (perkuse, soundscape), Airam Mares (perkuse), Indios Beta (flétny, perkuse), Renato Anesi (cavaco), Adrian Freedman (shakuhachi), Konrad Gaska (piano), Yuxibu Xarabu, Ami Mudhar & Ranjit Mudhar (vokály).

Bastiaan Kamãvena, a musician well-known in the world of medicine music, especially for the *Astral Flowers* tetralogy, is releasing his new musical work after eight years of study and deep artistic and spiritual development. The album Ruwê Txana Saïte will be released on March 21, 2025, capturing Bastiaan’s journey that began with his first visit to the Yawanawá tribe in late 2016.
This rare encounter marked the beginning of a new era, where Bastiaan, as one of the *Ruwê nawa vakê* (people of the stones – white people), connected with the wisdom and power of the Amazonian bird *txana* and began to sing the sacred songs (saiti) of indigenous tribes.
Ruwê Txana Saïte is an album that comes after eight years of study with the Yawanawá tribe. It is a selection of Bastiaan’s musical compositions of sacred prayers from the Yawanawá people, which are now ready to be shared with the world after years of maturing within the intimate space of ceremonies. In the spring of 2024, Bastiaan embarked on a beautiful journey to record this precious musical work, blending the meticulous study of traditional songs with a deeply personal and unique musical vision.
The rainforest is also present on the album through the voice of Pajé Matsini Yawanawá, Bastiaan’s teacher, who not only gave the album its name but also contributed the Ruawaki prayer.
The recording, mixing, and mastering of *Ruwê Txana Saïte* took place at Barrandov Sound Studio in Prague, but the album is a collaboration of Bastiaan’s musician friends from around the world. Contributors include:
