On December 16th, BASSIANI will host Courtesy, a Danish DJ, visual artist, and performer.Her artistic practices, characterised by the crossovers between different disciplines, started at the dancefloor, where the artist’s main interest was to research the ways of human interactions in the club. How are organic relationships established between people? What is it that unites dancers and creates a transcendental experience in space? - Questing those subjects prompted her to initiate a KULØR multidisciplinary platform and label. Books, releases, and exhibitions organised in frames of the platform take listeners and viewers into the world of music and contemporary arts. COURTESY’S fast and furious sets are the precisely carved examples of Danish Techno sound. Playing on the night from the vanguard of the Tbilisi scene will be the club’s pride residents, ZITTO with deep, hypnotic, dramatic journey and KVANCHI, the master of groovy-sets.
HOROOM hosts one of the front-runner DJs and producers from the global electronic music scene, DENIS SULTA. His music and visual image has enchanted influential labels such as NINJA TUNE and DIXON AVENUE BASEMENT JAMS and listeners around the world. The gender-bending stage presence of the SULTA SELECTS label founder is integrated with the set dramaturgy of carefully chosen tracks, a prerequisite for relentless dance. Unleashing his current music visions and interests on the dancefloor will be one of the HOROOM’s longest-standing explorers, HAMATSUKI, and one of the most experienced and significant figures in the Tbilisi electronic music scene, ZURKIN.
