Bassendean Open Studios 2026

Bassendean Open Studios returns Sat 7 / Sun 8 November 2026, inviting visitors to step behind the scenes, meet local artists and discover the creative heart of this historic riverside community.

From 10.00 am to 4.00 pm each day, visitors can follow a free, self-guided trail through Bassendean, stepping inside local studios and creative spaces to discover where art is imagined, experimented with and created.

Now in its fourth year, Bassendean Open Studios celebrates the remarkable creativity found within one local community while making art welcoming, approachable and accessible to everyone.

Rather than seeing finished artworks solely on gallery walls, visitors are invited into the places where creativity happens. Meet artists, see works in progress, discover their tools and materials, hear the stories behind individual artworks and gain a greater understanding of the creative process.
