On May 6th, the jazz bass department will celebrate the 60th birthday of the esteemed Austrian electric bassist, composer, and KUG faculty member Robert Riegler. With over 35 years of experience, Robert has played alongside some of the most prolific artists globally, including the Vienna Art Orchestra, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Rebekka Bakken, and many others. The evening, dubbed "Bass Night," will feature Robert performing a select repertoire of his compositions and favorite tracks, inviting students to join him on stage for a collaborative experience.
