Winter is back in town and the hill opens on Saturday December 14th. Come celebrate the return of the ski/snowboard/snowblade/snowskate season with a dance party at the place with the sweet tunes and the salty bacon.
Music will be all over the electronic dance map but will be pretty baseline driven for the most part!

Akiiba (aka Raphael Akiba) is a multidisciplinary creative whose love for music is intricately woven with his professions as visual artist and chef. Raised in Montreal's vibrant hub, he cultivated an eclectic taste for contemporary music, food, and artwork from a young age. Living in the Kootenays for ten years, he now resides in Nelson. Akiiba collects soundscapes for inspiration, seamlessly blending upbeat yet smooth and melodic bassline-driven genres. Raph’s repertoire contains hip hop, dub, 2-step, global, downtempo, halftime and broken beat rhythms. You can find him performing at festivals, restaurants, and intimate gatherings, where he plays to suit the atmosphere, winding things up or down.

BoxFire has been DJing bush parties for tree planters and house parties for ski bums for over 10 years. Known for epic multi-hour genre blending sets, he's sure to get the dance floor moving. After a huge sucess of a season ender party in April 2024, BoxFire is stoked to be back at B&Ts to try out the new and improved stage.
