Basket Case - The Australian Green Day show are back at the Jade for their 2026 NO FRILLS gig. Playing all the hits and fan favourites from the USA punk rock legends, GREEN DAY, this is a night of high energy rock n roll that will get loud and sweaty and leave you with a smile from ear to ear.Emerging from the Bay Area punk scene, GREEN DAY achieved mainstream success with their 1994 album Dookie, which sold millions of copies and helped revive popular interest in punk rock. Known for their catchy melodies, energetic performances, and lyrics that range from personal themes to political commentary, the band reached another creative high with the rock opera American Idiot, which spawned hit singles including Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Wake Me Up When September Ends and Holiday and was later adapted into a Broadway musical. Over the decades, Green Day has remained one of the most influential and commercially successful punk rock bands in the world and Basket Case strive to give you the next best thing to seeing the real deal LIVE!
