Basics of Bezels - In-Person Jewelry Class

What goes into creating a bezel setting that can hold a stone?
In our Basics of Bezels class, you’ll learn foundational soldering and bezel-setting techniques while creating a stone setting from start to finish.
The project gives you an opportunity to understand how a bezel is constructed and used to hold a stone. As you work through the process, you’ll begin seeing how soldering and stone setting come together as part of a complete jewelry setting.
This beginner-level class offers a practical introduction for students who are curious about setting stones and want to begin building these foundational skills with instructor guidance.
Your instructor, Kim St. Jean, is Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist and has more than 25 years of jewelry-making teaching experience.
